Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 13, 2026

1. What cookies we use

AutoGo uses two categories of browser storage: essential and analytics & error tracking. You control whether the second category is enabled via the consent banner that appears on your first visit.

2. Essential cookies

Essential cookies and local storage entries keep you signed in, remember your preferred language, and protect against CSRF. These are always active because the platform cannot function without them.

3. Analytics & error tracking (opt-in)

This category is off by default and only loads if you switch it on. When enabled, we initialise Sentry, which records anonymised crash reports and short replays of sessions where an unhandled error occurred. We use this data solely to fix bugs and improve AutoGo, and we do not send personally identifying information. If you leave it off, Sentry is never initialised, so no telemetry is sent.

4. Your choice & legal basis

On your first visit a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Customize per category — rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, and no non-essential cookie is set before you choose. Strictly-necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest in operating the service; analytics & error-tracking cookies rely on your consent (GDPR/RGPD Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time. We record your choice (with a timestamp and policy version) and will ask again if this policy materially changes.

5. Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can reopen the cookie manager and change every category at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving consent:

The same link is in the site footer and in your account settings.
