  • Dealer Information: Business name, operator name, business address, tax ID, bank details (bank name, IBAN), insurance information, and fleet details.
  • Identity Verification: Driving license, national ID, or passport for identity verification purposes.
  • Vehicle Information: Vehicle specifications, photos, documents (registration, insurance, inspection), and pricing.
  • Communications: Messages exchanged between Dealers and Renters through the in-app messaging system.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Location Data: Vehicle pickup/dropoff locations, and approximate device location when using location-based features.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, booking history, and interaction patterns.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, and app version.
  • Push Notification Tokens: For delivering booking updates, messages, and alerts.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Service Operation: To facilitate vehicle listings, bookings, payments, and communication between Dealers and Renters.
  • Identity Verification: To verify user identities and Dealer business credentials for safety and trust.
  • Payments: To process payments, calculate commissions, and manage Dealer payouts.
  • Communication: To send booking confirmations, trip updates, reminders, and customer support messages.
  • Safety: To detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and resolve disputes.
  • Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, improve the Platform, and develop new features.

4. Information Sharing

We share your personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Between Users: Dealer business information (company name, insurance details, vehicle listings) is shared with Renters. Renter names and contact information are shared with Dealers for confirmed bookings.
  • Service Providers: With third-party services that help us operate the Platform, including cloud hosting (AWS), payment processing, push notifications (Firebase), SMS services (Twilio), and mapping services (Google Maps).
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Safety: When necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of AutoGo, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the EU (Stockholm region).
  • We use encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest for sensitive data.
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
  • We implement industry-standard security measures, but no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for up to 3 years for legal, tax, and regulatory compliance purposes. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.
