Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the AutoGo platform ("Platform"), including the website at autogolb.com, the mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

AutoGo is operated by AutoGo SARL, a company registered in Lebanon ("AutoGo", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

AutoGo is a technology platform that connects vehicle fleet operators ("Dealers") with individuals seeking to rent vehicles ("Renters"). AutoGo does not own, operate, or manage any vehicles listed on the Platform. AutoGo acts as an intermediary facilitating the booking and rental process between Dealers and Renters.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
• Renters must hold a valid driving license recognized in Lebanon.
• Dealers must be legally registered businesses in Lebanon with valid commercial registrations and insurance coverage.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information current.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. AutoGo is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.

5. Dealer Obligations

• Dealers must ensure all listed vehicles are properly registered, insured, and in safe operating condition.
• Dealers must maintain valid commercial insurance covering all listed vehicles for rental purposes.
• Dealers must provide accurate vehicle information including specifications, photos, pricing, and availability.
• Dealers are responsible for vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and roadworthiness.
• Dealers must honor confirmed bookings unless exceptional circumstances arise.
• Dealers agree to the commission rate set by AutoGo, which may be updated with prior notice.

6. Renter Obligations

• Renters must use vehicles in accordance with Lebanese traffic laws and the rental agreement.
• Renters are responsible for the vehicle during the rental period, including fuel, tolls, and parking.
• Renters must return vehicles on time, in the same condition as received, subject to normal wear and tear.
• Renters must report any accidents, damage, or mechanical issues immediately to the Dealer and AutoGo.
• Renters may not sublease, lend, or allow unauthorized persons to drive the rented vehicle.

7. Bookings and Payments

• All bookings are subject to availability and Dealer confirmation (unless instant booking is enabled).
• Pricing is set by Dealers and displayed in US Dollars (USD). AutoGo does not control Dealer pricing.
• AutoGo facilitates payment processing between Renters and Dealers. AutoGo deducts its commission before remitting earnings to Dealers.
• Cancellation policies are applied as specified at the time of booking.

8. Insurance

All vehicles listed on AutoGo are covered by the Dealer's commercial insurance policy. Insurance details, including coverage and exclusions, are displayed on each vehicle listing. AutoGo does not provide insurance directly. Renters are encouraged to review insurance details before confirming a booking.

9. Disputes

In the event of a dispute between a Dealer and a Renter (including but not limited to damage claims, cancellation disagreements, or service quality issues), both parties may submit a dispute through the Platform. AutoGo will review disputes and may mediate, but the final resolution rests with the involved parties. AutoGo's decisions in dispute mediation are made in good faith but are not binding arbitration.

10. Limitation of Liability

AutoGo is a technology platform and is not a party to the rental agreement between Dealers and Renters. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• AutoGo is not liable for any accidents, injuries, vehicle damage, theft, or losses arising from the use of vehicles booked through the Platform.
• AutoGo is not liable for the actions, omissions, or negligence of Dealers or Renters.
• AutoGo's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to AutoGo in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the Platform for any illegal purpose.
• Providing false or misleading information.
• Circumventing AutoGo's payment system or arranging off-platform transactions.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users.
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or AutoGo's systems without authorization.

12. Suspension and Termination

AutoGo may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms the Platform or other users. Dealers may also be suspended if their fleet fails to meet safety or insurance requirements.

13. Modifications

AutoGo may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
